Covid – 19 Update

Will there be delays in my delivery?

We send all UK orders on a tracked service and most orders are arriving between 1 and 3 days. However, we have been notified that there are a few delays in the postal system due to high demand. For this reason, there is a small chance your parcel may arrive slightly later than expected. While we try our hardest to track your parcel down for you right away, we will have to wait 10 days until your parcel is deemed lost (and of course we'll send you a new one).

What is the allergen information for your products?

Please always refer to the allergy advice on the label before consuming anything.

As of August 25, 2020  all of our Truffle Ingredients have been produced in a an environment where cereal, milk, eggs, and sulphites are present.

• White Truffle Clarified Butter – not suitable for dairy allergy sufferers. Note: the product is lactose free but not dairy free.

Do your products contain preservatives or artificial colours?

No. There are absolutely no preservatives or artificial colours in any of our products.

Are there any claims attached to your products?

Absolutely. We guarantee exceptional flavours and mouthwatering combinations.

Are your products suitable for vegetarians?

Yes all our truffle ingredients are suitable for vegetarians so you can enjoy our full range here 

Are any of your products suitable for Keto and Paleo diets?

Yes. The White Truffle Clarified Butter is made with 100% pure butterfat, works very well with both diets.

Are your products Kosher certified?

Yes all our truffle ingredients are Kosher certified so you can enjoy our full range here

What is so special about your fresh truffles?

All our truffles are sourced exclusively and directly from our partner growers, never middle parties. By working hand-in-hand with small producers and truffle hunters we can source exceptionally flavourful fresh truffles. We ensure these dedicated individuals and their truffle-hunting dogs are paid a fair price - they are not just suppliers but our partners and friends.

How often do you source truffles?

Rather than keep lots of stock, we source fresh every week to maintain the freshness, exceptional flavour and aroma of the truffles.

Where do you source your fresh truffles from?

White Truffles, Tuber Magnatum Pico – Marche, Italy (November – January)

Black Winter Truffles, Tuber Melanosporum Vitt. – Teruel, Spain (December – April)

Black Winter Truffles, Tuber Melanosporum Vitt. – Maule, Chile (June – August)

Honey Truffles, Mattirolomyces Terfezioides – Hungary (August – November)

All the truffles used in our range of truffle ingredients are from Italy.

How do you ship your fresh truffles?

Our fresh truffles are wrapped individually and packed in food approved insulated boxes to control temperature.  

Why don’t you carry Summer Truffles?

Exceptional flavour is at the heart of Trubel’s ethos. Summer truffles do not meet our rigorous criteria.   

What are truffle ingredients?

AKA truffle products. Our truffle range is sourced by Michelin-star chefs who recognise their exceptional flavour and creative combinations.

Do you do any tastings?

Yes. Please sign-up to Trubel’s list and you’ll hear from us on dates and locations of our tastings.

What is the shelf life of your truffle ingredients?

18 – 36 months. Please check the individual ingredients’ pages for details.

Online Shop FAQs

Do you ship internationally?

Currently only UK orders are accepted through our online shop. However, please drop us a line at info@trubel.co.uk and we will do our best to help.

How much is delivery?

Delivery is free for orders over £45.

If your order is under £45, a small delivery fee will be charged in line with our postage charges. Have a look at our delivery questions for more information.

Who is your courier?

Royal Mail tracked for 48hr delivery

DPD for next day delivery

How can I track my parcel?

When you place your order you should receive a link which will let you track your order progress

How do I Use a promo code?

If you have a promo code you’ll be able to enter it at the checkout.

Do you post on weekends?

Unfortunately, we do not currently post orders on weekends. Please note our team works Mon-Fri. Cut off for processing an order for next day delivery is 12 pm, so any order after 12 pm on a Friday will be processed as a priority Monday.

Can I change my order once it’s been placed?

Unfortunately you cannot amend your order once it has been placed. If you give us a call as soon as you can or email us at info@trubel.co.uk, we may be able to manually change it, if it has not yet been dispatched.

Can I return an order and get a refund?

Yes, only for truffle ingredients, as long as you send a little email to info@trubel.co.uk, within 7 working days. However, we cannot accept returns on fresh truffle orders.

If you'd like a refund, the full truffle ingredient order amount will be refunded to you and processed to your payment card within 30 days. We are unable to cover the cost of your return postage.

What are truffle supper clubs and where are they held?

Truffle supper clubs are exclusive dining events run by Trubel at different fine dining restaurants across London as well as private residences. All items on the menu prepared with Trubel’s truffles and truffle ingredients.

Who cooks at the supper clubs?

Celebrity chefs as well as very talented home cooks

What are the supper club rules?
